Synopsis
“Breast Pathology” is an intimate portrait which sheds light into the relationship between women and their breasts. Throughout several years of recording, Olgha Montero Arce, a painter and actress, remembers her adolescence trying to hide her total absence of breasts, her happiness thanks to implants and, again, the suffering of concealing a disfigured breast after having it damaged in a mammogram.
Born in Cangas de Onís, Asturias, she has a degree in Information Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (with additional studies in ancient philosophy and Spanish literature at the same university) and training in language, production and film and TV practices in Barcelona. and Brighton (England). He began as a director and screenwriter with the short films Se pago al act and Lencería de occasion (nominated for the Goya Awards in 1995 and 2000). His filmography includes other shorts such as For being with you (2002) and Module 10 (2010) and the feature films A strange contract (2013) and In silent mode (2016) as well as documentaries, experimental videos, etc. These works have received various recognitions and awards at national and international festivals. He has also given audiovisual workshops and organized film outreach activities. He has been a member of the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences since 1995.

Es más bien una luz de sombra, con ondas más pardas o más rojizas, más aterciopeladas o más leves, como si estuviera habitada por seres voladores que uno no ve durante el día, como alas de tiniebla.
Inspirada en una leyenda china, la mítica historia del arquero Yi cobra un carácter metafórico y testimonial en los tiempos actuales.
Un homenaje al Chris Marker de La Jetée en un futuro distópico…. O no tanto….
